About

We are a Bible-based, Christ centered group that relies on the Bible for our practices and instruction. We have no man-made creeds or doctrine other than that which can be found in the Bible. We are happy to show you the reasons for why we do what we do from the Bible.

We have numerous outreach activities including support for local community charities, Hope for Haiti’s children, an annual clothing drive, and winter hat and mitten give-away. We meet often for fellowship dinners and activities which you are invited to attend.

You are welcome at all of our assemblies.  If you have an interest in studying the Bible, we would be happy to arrange a convenient time to study with you.

Matthew 9: 12 “It is not  those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.  13 “But go and learn  what this means, ‘ I DESIRE  COMPASSION,  AND NOT SACRIFICE,’  for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

We believe and teach these things:

The Bible is from God.

2 Timothy 3: 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

The Bible is complete; there is not a new message today.

Jude 1: 3 Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

All have fallen short of God’s holiness.

Romans 3: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

God loves everyone and wants us to obey His Son, Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3: 9 (The Apostle Peter) “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

Acts 17: 30, (The Apostle Paul speaking in the Areopagus in Athens)  “God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important thing that has happened in human history.

1 Corinthians 15: 3, (The Apostle Paul writing to the church at Corinth) “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,”

Jesus is the way to God the Father.

John 14: 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.”

What does God want us to do?

Acts 2: 36, (The Apostle Peter preaching to the crowd in Jerusalem on Pentecost) “Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ — this Jesus whom you crucified.” Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

We must do something.

John 12: 48, “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.”
